                  Microsoft has launched an internship program - Future Ready Talent - to empower young Indians with technical skills for employment. Student training program for their second year of college upwards. The program aims to target 1.5 lakh higher education students who will join the staff between 2022-2024.

The program is open to students who will graduate in 2022, 2023, and graduate in 2021. Students from all specialties are open to participation. Students who are eligible can go for the training program by visiting the Future Ready Talent website and sign up for open batches. Registration for the first batch started on 15 September.


Under this program, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), FutureSkills Prime - NASSCOM and the Department of Technology and Information (MeitY) digital skills program, Ernst & Young (EY), GitHub and Quiss Corp Corp and Microsoft will provide a comprehensive skills platform, connecting talent and opportunity.


"The Talent program is manufactured to keep students in the institution," Microsoft said in a statement. Through its Learn-Apply-Implement framework, the program will provide students with end-to-end knowledge, from digital skills training to working on key projects in the sandbox area, consulting with industry experts, and access to potential employers, in addition.


As part of this collaboration:


Microsoft is going to provide a learning and certification program by its learning platform, Microsoft Learn, with student skills on topics such as cloud computing, data & AI, and cybersecurity.


AICTE will ensure that the curriculum is in line with the National Education Policy, 2020.


SSC NASSCOM will provide alignment of relevant courses with National Occupational Standards, which links these courses to FutureSkills Prime.


EY will provide technical and industrial advice to students while on the job.


GitHub will provide students with free access to the best developer tools with the GitHub Student Developer Pack, as well as the opportunity to collaborate on projects with other developers on GitHub.


Quess Corp will manage the student experience and play an active role in stakeholder engagement, providing job opportunities to Microsoft customers and the partner environment.


Commenting on the program, Anant Maheshwari, President of Microsoft India, said, "Indian youth is one of the biggest competitive advantages in the country.
