Looking for a way to check all phone numbers registered against your Aadhaar card? It is possible with a portal introduced by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) that allows individuals to check how many phone numbers are registered on their Aadhaar number. The site initially operates for consumers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It is basically helpful if you want to block any lost connections. Telephone numbers registered against your Aadhaar number can also help you speed up your customer identification (KYC) process required by banks and various government officials.

DoT launched the Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP) website in April to allow phone subscribers to search for all phone numbers registered with their Aadhaar number. The site is currently only available in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, although DoT says it will soon be extended to all consumers in the country.

According to the FAQ page, the TAFCOP site is designed to “assist subscribers, check the number of cellular phone calls running on their behalf, and take the necessary steps to adjust their further mobile communications if available.”
