Finally a way out !! Transfer whastapp chat between IOS and Android - YP Buzz

 YP Buzz -

After being rumored for a few weeks, WhatsApp has finally enabled message history and content to be transferred between Android and iOS. This feature was officially announced today during the Samsung Unpacked event. The Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 will be the first to allow this, to cover transfers from iOS devices to new folders.

The feature will gradually roll out on Samsung devices on Android 10 or higher before finally reaching all other Android devices and iPhones “in the coming weeks”. There is no set time for this new option, but Samsung seems to be pulling the strings only in the hope that it will eventually convince iPhone users to switch to Samsung. WhatsApp has not specified how Android users will be able to transfer data to iPhones.

Conversation will take place when both iOS and Android devices are physically connected via USB-C to the Lightning cable (which is well integrated with all modern iPhones). You will not be able to transfer to all platforms online.

If you receive more than one cloud backup of your chat history, photos, and voice messages, backups will not be included. Instead, the transferred data will overwrite the existing backup when a new backup is created.

Since its launch more than a decade ago, WhatsApp has become one of the most popular messaging apps in the world. From there, the messaging app is always limited to one state on one device. Switching phones may mean that users have to back up their local storage so that messages, photos, chats, and voice notes can be restored to the new device, but it has never been possible to transfer data between applications.

Thanks & Regards
