                         Windows 10 is very easy to get started with, but with the best experience, there are some important things to do after installing Windows. Doing this takes a little while, but it sets you up for a smooth ride down the road.

1. Run Windows Update and Configure Update Settings

Even if you have just installed Windows 10, chances are some of the latest updates are pending. You should install them immediately to make sure you have the latest features and security dots.

2. Make Sure Windows Is Activated

If you did not enter the license key or sign up for a digital licensed Microsoft account during the setup process, you must activate it now. This will allow you to access all Windows 10 functions.

Navigate to Settings> Updates and Security> Activation to check if you have already used Windows. Once you've done that, you're ready. If not, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account, or enter your license key.

3. Update Your Hardware Drivers

Device Driver is a piece of software that integrates and controls how a particular device works when connected to your system. In other words, drivers allow Windows to interact properly with your computer hardware.

Drivers are frequently supplied by hardware manufacturers, and like most software, they are not always perfect. Sometimes they are buggy or do not see updates to keep up with the latest versions of Windows.
