BYJU'S data leak !! students data are not safe anymore - YP Buzz

                   An insecure server in has placed student data on Byju's popular e-portal course. According to the report, the server has been unprotected since at least June 14, according to a Techcrunch report.




The information obtained from the server contained the names of the students and subjects as well as the email addresses and phone numbers of the parents and teachers. It also included log discussions between parents and staff and teacher comments about their students. Copies of emails with codes for resetting user accounts and internal information for are also available on the server.

The error was discovered by security researcher Anurag Sen, who asked for the letter to help report it to the company. The server is then pulled offline. Commenting on the incident, a WhiteHat Jr. spokesman said: “, one of WhiteHat Jr's vendors for India jobs, has experienced a potential security incident. We are currently in contact with in this regard and will take appropriate action in accordance with our strict security policies. ”

Speaking to TechCrunch, Surga Thilakan, founder of said, "Our research suggests that this disclosure device appears to be a production, a platform for one of our integration services with up to 1% India based end-of-life sales logs for two weeks."
